Timisoara, April 15. At the Timisoara City Hall, gathered for the first time those who, in 2011, “kicked off” the environmental education project the Recycling Patrol. The Recycling Patrol unfolds today, with spectacular results, in hundreds of kindergartens, schools and high schools across the country.

Timisoara has a special place in the Recycling Patrol program as it owns half of the”veterans” who have participated in all five editions of the program. These patrols have the most extensive experience in the program and contributed to its evolution.

The event ended with awarding diplomas and a moment of surprise, when Fabian Sanchez, VIP ambassador of the  Recycling Patrol, invited the audience to sing along the anthem of the Patrol.

We hope that the Patrol call: “We are five, we count on you! We want 5000 new supporters! “will mobilize communities to support children who have decided to win another national trophy.

In its anniversary year, the national team of the Patrol aims at convincing thousands of Romanians to become “Supporters”. Supporter of the Recycling patrol can become any citizen, company or institution that send to recycling waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) – a simple gesture, with beneficial effects for the environment.
