European statistics show that about 6.5% of European employees work in social economy structures. Specifically, over 14 million Europeans. Equivalent to almost two thirds of Romania’s population. Their aim is to contribute to the social integration of vulnerable groups, and one of their goals is to defend and apply the principles of responsibility and solidarity. Why isn’t it possible in Romania? Don’t we need jobs?
RoRec Association, together with the Order of Malta Relief Organisation in Romania and the Municipality of Alba Iulia, made it possible. Now in Romania there are functional social economy structures.
