The Romanian Recycling Association – RoRec took part on Monday, December 15th, in the Structural Funds’ Gala, as a partner. The event was organized by the Representation of the European Commission in Romania and Structural Consulting Group – www.fonduri-structurale.ro – www.proiecte-structurale.ro.
At the gala, the organizers awarded the most successful Romanian projects financed by structural funds and that brought real changes in the life of people and local communities. RoRec Association granted a Special Award at the Infrastructure… on the catwalk! section to the project the Residential Centre for medical-social assistance for aged persons in the village Racoviță, Dâmbovița county of the Association Suflet pentru Oameni (Soul for people).
By this project a center was built at European standards for the care of aged people who suffer from neurological disorders. RoRec Association showed its appreciation and support for this project by offering as award a professional Whirlpool washing machine.
”We are offering this prize hoping that by our small gesture we will contribute to bringing more light and comfort in the life of the aged persons from this center and that we will facilitate the work of the personnel taking care of them, who deserve all our respect. At the same time, we hope that our example will be followed by all those who care about the people around and want to make positive changes”, said during the award ceremony Gabriela Tranciuc, PR and Communication Project Manager of RoRec Association.
