The National Collection Network, a project of RoRec Association in partnership with the local authorities,continues to expand to build up a WEEE collection infrastructure accessible to an increasingly larger number of citizens. Two new WEEE collection centers are launched in Bistrita and Cernavoda.   

The center opened in June 1st at Bistrița, Zefirului Street no 1, will serve more than 77,000 inhabitants and provide natural and legal entities with a free pick up service for large equipments, by request at the phone number 0751 302 125, available from Monday to Friday, between 10.00 and 17.00.

 

The inhabitants in Bistrita and neighboring areas will have the opportunity to dispose of their old or broken household appliances, by bringing them directly to the center from Monday to Friday, between 14.00-18.00 and on Saturday, between 09.00-13.00.

 

The program of the center launching also includes a WEEE collection campaign between 1-2 June. Besides the collection center, the citizens can dispose of their old household appliances at 5 temporary drop-off points. All participants will be enlisted in a raffle with prizes from Electrolux. 5 washing machines, 5 microwave ovens and other 15 domestic appliances will be offered within a ceremony organized on Saturday, June 2nd, at 19.00, at Bistrita Town Hall in the Council Room.

 

 

Cernavodă joins the National Collection Network, with the launching of a WEEE collection center on June 2nd. It is placed next to the Penny Market and will provide free pick up service to natural and legal entities in case of large equipment, if a transport is booked at the phone number 0767.104.837, available from Monday to Friday, between 10.00-17.00.

 

The inhabitants in Cernavodă and neighboring areas have the opportunity to dispose of their old or broken household appliances, by bringing them to the center every Saturday, between 09.00-16.00.

 

On the occasion of the center launching, a collection campaign is organized and three more collection points are available. All participants will be enlisted in a raffle with prizes from Gorenje – 3 refrigerators, 7 microwave ovens and 7 vacuum cleaners.

 

The prizes will be awarded within a ceremony which will take place on Saturday, June 2nd, at 18.00 hoours, on the stade of the Stadium.
