Bucharest, December 13 2012 – the Grand Prize of the Infomediu Europe Magazine Gala was awarded last night to the Romanian Recycling Association.
The Infomediu Europe Magazine Gala has already become a tradition, aiming at promoting and awarding organizations, individuals, projects, initiatives with a significant impact on environmental protection.
In its sixth year, Infomediu Europe Magazine has assumed the mission to raise awareness and inform all actors involved in environmental protection, to become a role model for mass media in this field and a real source of information on environmental issues.
“This prize honors us and rewards us for our endeavors on the difficult road that we chose. The fact that mass media, one of the main ambassadors of our message, appreciates these endeavors, binds us to keeping the same path and developing what we have started a few years ago – the building of a coherent collection infrastructure, represented today by RoRec’s National Collection Network, as well as constant awareness raising, education and information campaigns for the population to activate a sense of responsibility for the environment from the earliest age”, stated Liviu Popeneciu, President of RoRec Association.
