The inhabitants in Timisoara will benefit from a new free pick up from home service for large of heavy WEEE, starting November 2012.

The e-waste will be collected from home free of charge every last Saturday of the month, based on phone call requests.  To schedule a free transportation, the citizens are invited to call up 0726 114.180, 0751 302.114, 0785 189.492, from Monday to Saturday, between 09.00 – 18.00, starting November the 1st.

By this service, the Environment Directorate of Timisoara City Hall  and RoRec Association would like to offer the citizens the opportunity to responsibly dispose of large WEEE more frequently, besides the two spring and autumn collection campaigns, as well as the WEEE campaigns „Waste doesn’t belong at home. Take it for a hike!”.

This service is launched on the occasion of the celebration of two years of successful partnership between the two organizations.
