The Romanian Association for Recycling – RoRec returns with a second WEEE collection event of the campaign “Waste doesn’t belong at home. Take it for a hike!” in Bucharest, organized with the support of Electrolux and in partnership with District 6 Town Hall, on May 26th.
The inhabitants of Bucharest are expected to bring their WEEE at the collection points from 09.30 am until 05.30 pm to the following five temporary drop-off points:
Area 1 – Drumul Taberei, Ghencea, Prelungirea Ghencea:
1. Junction 1 Mai Street (Compozitorilor) with Brasov Street – across Billa (Dr.Taberei)
2. Drumul Taberei – Romancierilor Street
3. Favorit Cinema – Drumul Taberei, no 28
4. Prelungirea Ghencea no 32, in front of Profi
5. Timisoara Bd across Plaza Romania
The citizens in District 6 who would like to get rid of large home appliances can request a free home pick up service at the following phone numbers: Romtelecom – 021.311.70.99, Vodafone – 0731.136.942, Orange – 0755.365.596, Cosmote – 0767.670.412. The phone lines are open until Saturday, May 26th, between 9.00-17.00.
All participants will be enlisted in a raffle with prizes from Electrolux – 5 refrigerators, 5 washing machines, 10 vacuum cleaners, 5 microwave ovens, 5 irons and 5 coffee makers. The award ceremony will take place at the District 6 Town Hall, on June 2nd, at 19.00.
