The Romanian Recycling Association RoRec continues the series of openings of WEEE collection centers nationwide in the National WEEE Collection Centers Network, a project developed in partnership with the local authorities. Thus, the second WEEE Collection Center opened in Valenii de Munte, offering the inhabitants a solution for waste electrical and electronic equipment collection at European standards.
“I said yes to this partnership precisely because I wanted to support the local community, fostering the right civic behavior and giving the citizens a modern service that is also vital in protecting the environment. The WEEE Collection Center from Valenii de Munte provides services both to the population and to companies and institutions via an "Infoline" desk open Monday through Friday, between 09:00 a.m. and 06:00 p.m. and Saturday between 09:00 a.m. and 04:00 p.m. at phone number 0769 292 795. Companies and institutions can also request the pick-up of old equipment for scrapping, by calling the same infoline number. The reception of the old or defective equipment is done directly at the center located on 36A George Enescu street every Saturday between 09:00 a.m. and 01:00 p.m., while heavy or large appliances can be picked up from home, following a request made at the same infoline number.
After Tulcea, the WEEE Collection Center from Valenii de Munte is the second in a series of five centers to be opened by the RoRec Association in partnership with townhalls by mid-July.
